Dr. Denesha Alexander

Denesha has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Human Services specializing in marriage and family therapy, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She has worked in Human Services for over 20 years and is licensed as a professional counselor in Virginia and Texas. Denesha has a host of experience, training, and certifications to deal with depression, anxiety, grief, insomnia, anger management, stress, and many other issues.
Dr. Alexander utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy that is person-centered. She collaborates with clients to develop a treatment plan to meet specific needs. Hard work is engaged to establish rapport with all clients to foster a safe, supportive environment for change. Clients are afforded an empathetic, nonjudgmental ear to listen to issues and concerns. An advanced skill set is used to forge healthy changes in clients.
